5 Ways To Get You And Your Sales Out Of A Slump…Fast!

I was visiting with a friend of mine recently and when I asked her how business was, she replied, “Slow!” Her clients were either out of town, hadn’t rescheduled for missed appointments or had simply drifted away.
Businesses are no different than the people who run them. They have moods, cycles and rhythms that, if properly recognized and honored, can help you maintain momentum even when you may not be bursting at the seams with new business.
Undoubtedly, any business can slip into a slow period. BUT…the trick is to know WHAT to do to get your business back on track as quickly as possible and better yet, HOW to avoid slipping into a slow spot in it in the first place.

This Is Always The Risk…

I was supposed to fly to Miami Saturday to attend a coaching retreat I paid a pretty penny to participate in. But when my family told me about Hurricane Fay approaching Florida I was faced with a tough decision.
Do I risk disappointing the people who were expecting me to attend, and stay home where I knew I would be safely out of the storm’s way, or do I board the plane, not knowing what I was flying into or even when I would be able to return home?
Sensibility won out over giving in to peer pressure but it wasn’t without its share of turmoil and distress for me. I hate disappointing people (yes, I freely admit I am a recovering people pleaser!). I really wanted the master mind coaching I would have received if I attended the event. I had paid a great deal of mo-ney to be part of the coaching program and the retreats were an important benefit of the package. Not attending meant giving up a lot.
But attending would have meant giving up even more because doing something just to keep the peace or make others happy never works out well.
Would I have been safe even if I had chosen to attend? Probably. Would I have ended up getting stuck at the Miami airport, waiting along with hundreds of other stranded passengers for a flight home? Quite possibly. I’ll never know for certain.
But what I DO know is that it took tremendous courage for me to stand up for what I knew was right for me, even in the face of disapproval and disappointment from others.
Every time we choose the path of truth, no matter what, we strengthen our courage, 1ncrease our confidence and instantly pull ourselves into alignment with our Soul’s Divine Purpose. So, what is YOUR truth you’re ready to courageously claim this week?
